John Curry

Chief Executive Officer

John is Sétanta’s CEO, responsible for capital market strategies, loan originations, and relationship management. John previously co-founded a similar platform providing financing options for qualified residential developers. Prior to that, he served as General Counsel at a private equity group focused on single-family residential development. A native of Ireland, John holds law degrees from Duke University and University College Dublin.

Rob Davenport

Chief Operating Officer

Rob is Sétanta’s COO, responsible for asset management, underwriting, and investor communications. Starting in 2006, Rob has worked across all disciplines in the residential real estate industry, having held leadership positions across multiple residential development disciplines. His experience includes development oversight of residential neighborhoods, managing a $600MM portfolio of master-planned communities, and working in the homebuilding space. Rob holds MBA and undergrad degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Brian Harrison

Chief Financial Officer

Brian is Sétanta’s CFO, responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as regulatory compliance and investor relations. Having spent over a decade in public accounting, he has extensive experience in financial reporting and tax compliance across multiple segments of the real estate industry. Brian holds an MSA from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington as well as his Certified Public Accountant license.

Joe O'Meara

Director | Loan Originations

Joe joined Sétanta as a loan originator in 2021 and his role has grown over time to now manage all origination efforts for the company. As the senior lead, Joe uses his skills in business development, financial modeling, and relationship management to source new loan opportunities. His background in real estate as an actively licensed real estate broker allows Joe to add value to everyone involved in the underwriting process through his experience in market analysis. A dual American and Irish Citizen, Joe resides in Charlotte, NC.

Domhnall Minogue

Director | Loan Servicing

Domhnall helps to lead the Sétanta asset management team and is responsible for active loan management and the analysis of investment opportunities. Having previously worked for Spire Residential Capital, providing financing options to residential developers, Domhnall has a background in the financing of land development and the related asset management. Domhnall also has a background in banking, having previously held a middle-office operations role with Bank of America. Domhnall holds a master’s degree in finance from Wingate University and a B.S. in Business Administrations from Catawba College.

Mark Neacy

Director | Loan Operations

Mark is Sétanta’s Senior Asset Manager and is responsible for active loan oversight and underwriting of investment opportunities. Having previously worked for Spire Residential Capital, providing financing options to residential developers, Mark also has a background in equity investments having worked as a portfolio manager for Ireland’s largest stockbroker and wealth management firm. Mark holds Masters degrees in both Finance and Management Consulting from University College Dublin and the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Brian Pack

Director | Market Research & Analytics

Brian leads SDC’s efforts to track all new events in the development and homebuilding space. Leveraging this knowledge, he works within Sétanta’s originations team to underwrite investment opportunities for potential and existing clients. Before entering the real estate finance industry, Brian worked in the telecommunications and transportation industries, where he helped form and manage teams to help his companies engage in new business ventures. Brian attended Ohio Dominican University where he majored in English.

Peter Shanosky

Credit Officer

Pete manages the credit risk policies for Sétanta’s incoming and existing projects. Working with the origination and market research teams, he ensures each project meets the company's guidelines and risk tolerance while also setting the parameters for future growth. Pete comes to Sétanta with broad experience in the lending space, holding positions with TD Bank, Synovus Bank, and a private commercial lender in New Jersey. Most recently, Pete assisted the U.S. Small Business Administration in their efforts to tighten underwriting policies for their existing small business lending programs.

Micaylah King

Loan Officer

Micaylah joined Sétanta as an asset manager in 2022. Working directly with our active borrowers, Micaylah ensures that all loans stay on track to meet performance targets. Her role has expanded to managing loan portfolios and leading quarterly reporting efforts to capital partners. Micaylah holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Finance & Development as well as a B.S. in Business Administration from UNC-Charlotte.

Ryan Hirsch

Loan Officer

Ryan is an Asset Manager at Sétanta, where he supports the firm’s acquisition and development lending platform. He works closely with borrowers to oversee construction progress, manage draw requests, and monitor loan performance across the portfolio. Prior to joining Sétanta in 2026, Ryan worked with South Street Partners, a private equity real estate firm focusing on acquisitions and development. He holds degrees in Finance and Real Estate from the University of South Carolina.

Koby Powell

Loan Originator

Koby supports the team's origination efforts by identifying and forming new developer relationships while managing frontend deal diligence and financial analysis. Prior to joining Sétanta in 2026, Koby was an Associate with Home Technology Ventures where he invested in seed-stage technology startups innovating the housing industry. Koby's experience in housing dates back to working for his family's homebuilding business before later earning his Realtor's license. Koby graduated from Texas Christian University with a BBA - Finance and was selected as a 2024 Venture for America Fellow.
