(pronounced Seh Tan Tah)

Sétanta was a legendary warrior in Irish folklore. Displaying impressive actions from a young age, Sétanta would grow up to be Ireland’s greatest warrior, defined by his strength, loyalty and vision.

Our Purpose

We believe there is a shortage of single-family housing across the United States. Based on today's demographic and migration patterns, the supply of affordable and attainable housing in our country's fastest growing metro areas is of particular concern. We believe that the number of finished lots available to homebuilders in these markets will continue to fall short of end demand for the foreseeable future.

While there are several explanations for this shortage, many developers cite a lack of available and appropriate land financing as a key impediment to delivering suitable inventory.

We formed Sétanta to address this issue. Our Lot Loan program provides acquisition and development financing to select developers in our target markets nationwide, with a focus on financing projects that will deliver affordable and attainable housing. Drawing on the deep industry experience of our principals, Sétanta combines industry connectivity and understanding with institutional underwriting, documentation and servicing. Our loans are structured to address the specific needs of our borrowers and their home builder partners.
